I’m a UX designer in the Twin Cities.

My focus areas are synthesis, information architecture, and interaction design, though I enjoy practicing all areas of UX from user research to high fidelity prototyping.

I’ve designed both physical and digital spaces.

As a landscape designer, my process involved understanding how a client’s lifestyle intertwined with an outdoor space. It was essential to consider not only the aesthetics of a design, but also how small components worked together within a larger system.

Designing for outdoor environments with living materials presented unique restraints and challenges that required creative problem solving. My experience with problem solving for complex physical systems translated to my work in UX.

As a user experience designer, I utilize my experience of tackling complex systems to streamline and restructure information to fit user’s goals. I aim to create designs that are functional, connect to the larger system, and above all always refer back to the users goals.

In my spare time I enjoy creative writing, reading, trying new recipes, and staying active outdoors.
